This past weekend Abby had her Delta Beta Sigma Charity Ball. The ball was in honor of The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The funds they raised this evening & throughout the year have went to this foundation. So far they had raised $7,000 This wasn't including any donations given at the ball.
Abby's day started early! A group of 16 went at 2:30 to a local spot & had tons of pictures done by their parents. Their dinner reservations were at 4:30. At 6:00 they went to the Girls State Championship Basketball game that their high school was playing in and WON!! They were playing at the local college here and happened to be the same place they were having formal! So after the game they all raced a few blocks to the next event. Presentation of the girls started at 8:00pm. Sydney was asked to be the Delta Beta Sigma Princess. She handed out roses to the escorts to give the girls. She was so excited! After presentation the evening went on with a dance until midnight. The plans were to go bowling & then breakfast but they bypassed bowling it was too packed & just went to breakfast. Abby had a FABULOUS night!
