Abby's Junior Prom

Abby & Jk had their Junior Prom a couple weeks ago. The went with a group of friends. They did pictures down off the town square outside of the library. Then they all then went to dinner & off to Prom. Afterwards they all went to a friends house for the rest of the night until morning. They had a GREAT night! Here are some photos from their evening, I took over 100!

Carson Plays TBall

Carson is currently in his second season of TBall. He should be playing with the 4-5 year olds again, but we decided to play him up a year. The coach was moving up a year & we thought it was best to try & keep Carson with who he was familiar with. I don't think Carson said one word to the coach last year, he would just nod his head. He has come along way in that department, he will answer 9 times out of 10. He's just very quiet around people he doesn't know & even those he does know. :) Carson is a GREAT little ball player! He plays third base & is an awesome hitter & hits from coaches pitch. We enjoy watching him!

Mattie & Mama Go to Orlando!

In Febuary Mattie & I loaded on a bus with the cheer squad, parents & coaches for our 12 hour bus ride. Mattie's middle school cheer squad received a bid to the National Cheer Competition in Orlando, Florida. We were gone six days! We were supposed to leave on a Thursday morning but due to the awful weather conditions heading our way we had to leave 3pm on Wed. This was with a 2 hour notice! They wanted to get through Atlanta & stay somewhere for the night. This really through me for a loop! I was planning on having another evening with my other kiddos & Doug. I have such difficulty leaving them & this was just the icing on the cake. In the craziness of all of this I forgot pajamas, toothbrush & deodorant! I didn't realize this until we stopped for the evening. With no car to take me to a Wally World or Target I was pretty much up a creek! Thank goodness I had sweats & once we got to Orlando I was able to buy deodorant & toothbrush at the hotel gift shop.

Mattie & I had a fabulous time at Disney! It was strange being there in Febuary! We have always been in the summer. The weather was cold & no crowds or waits at all! The competition went fairly well. The girls did the beast they could do. Although the didn't advance it was overall a great experience.

DBS Fashion Show

Abby was in the annual DBS Fashion Show. She was one of the models modeling the latest in Prom Fashion. All the proceeds of the fashion show went to Prevent Child Abuse America. Ab was a little more comforatble on stage this year. Last year she was way more reserved, this year she let loose & had a great time! She also looked beautiful!
