Here it is folks....the Big Snow of 2010! It got us out of school for two days & we were able to do some sledding. It doesn't take much snow to make us happy around here. If you don't take full advantage of the little snow, you could miss out completely. We don't get big snows here & that's okay, we'll make due with what we have. This year we became the proud owners of our first sleds! If you recall last year we ventured out with cardboard. We've come along way baby! Okay, now we have sleds but for some reason Doug decides he was going to be the 'cool dad' & show the kids how he could sled down on his belly. Well, let's just say, for the record that wasn't a good idea! He took off running dove down on his belly like a penguin would & took off sliding. Before I knew it he was tumbling & rolling & it wasn't a pretty sight. At first I wasn't sure if what he did was on purpose but apparently it wasn't. Oh my goodness, he was so sore & his head hurt from his big 'show off ' stunt!
As you will notice I have no pictures of Abby. Although she was with us she did no sledding & wouldn't let me take any pictures of her.
But all in all we had a good day & the kids enjoyed their sledding adventure.
Nobody brought Carson a coat but Syd saved the day by coming with more than enough clothes. She took off her hoodie & gave it to Bubbs. That's why he's sportin' a Snow Bunny hoodie :)

Love that you sled even if there is barely any snow! Everyone looks so cute in the photos! I would have paid to see Doug do his stunt! I'm sure it was graceful! Poor guy! Looks like fun! We still need to get out there and sled we haven't yet this year. Kaden and Wes went with my mom and dad, but we haven't gone with Myles,we should it looks like fun!
