Try..Try Again

Honest to goodness!! You try to do something fun with the family & more times than not , it ends up a disaster! (well, not quite a disaster) We attempted to take the kids to the minor league baseball game tonight. The closer we got, the worse the sky looked. Rain, rain, rain! I'm really tired of the rain! Syd even said, "boy mom, it sure rains a lot in April"! She ain't kidding! (She's worried her B-Day party might need to be cancelled since it's raining all the time & everything seems to get cancelled) So, the game was on rain delay from the beginning & finally got postponed. Carson was so excited about the game, it was sad to leave. But the kids are troopers & just go with the flow, no meltdowns. We had such great seats, it would have felt like we were on the field with the players. Anyway, we got a 30min. road trip one way & a little dinner, hotdogs & nachos. Maybe next time we will have better luck! We are just going to add this to our many attempts & keep on trying: Airshow; icepellets & freezing cold, Nascar race; like a monsoon/tsunami, soccer game & everytime we go to Disney- Rain! What ya going to do but, try, try again!
