The kids were so excited about Easter, it's all the little girls & Carson could talk about. The girls kept trying to tell Carson what was going to happen, he was excited! They woke up at 7am & were ready to hunt for baskets & eggs. Four kids running around inside the house...it's CRAZY!! They are so fun to watch, I wouldn't have it any other way. Carson was peeking in each egg, if it was candy he'd pop it in his mouth. He had chocolate oozing out of his mouth! He didn't want one treat to go to waste. Sydney was just as bad! It was funny! I always make the same breakfast on Easter, I prepare it the night before & bake it in the morning. It's tradition. It's called Easter morning breakfast. All in all we had a good day. After the morning we just laid back & relaxed. It is hard to be away from family during the holidays, but we have tried to make our own traditions & fun times. Hopefully the kids will remember & appreciate them later in life.
