A Virgin No Longer...

I bet that got your attention! I am no longer a massage therapy virgin! Thanks to my fabulous friend Nancy. She generously decided to share her love for massage therapy with me. I've never been interested in doing something like this & also knowing I wouldn't do it for myself. She bought me a gift certificate & all but forced me to go. I drive by this place several times on a daily basis & look over wondering if I should really put my gift certificate to use. (I could give it to Doug, he would LOVE it) I'm very nervous about the whole thing... I suppose of the unknown. So, sneaky Nancy calls yesterday to let me know she can't make her appt. today & I should take her spot. (suspicious now that I think about it) She's even going to watch Carson while the girls are at school. At the time I couldn't think of an excuse not to go so, away I went to my little appt. It ended up great, I thought it was fablulous, not scary at all, very relaxing, I even felt a tinge of guilt for being there. Then I realized forget the guilt!! I NEVER take time for myself...NEVER!! Mothers are always so busy doing for everyone else, all the time! It was nice for once to have a little pampering. So my friends, treat yourself to a massage you'll be glad you did. Thanks Nancy...your the best!! You knew exactly what I needed!
