Once again Doug got us 'FREE' tickets, we went to the Indy 200 car race. This was a first for the kids. Minutes before announcing, drivers start your engines the rain came. We stood underneath bleachers (so much for keeping dry) for about 45 min. until the rain let up. They dried the track, which takes a good bit of time, & as soon as it was time to start the race, here comes the rain again! It was bad, we had to leave, it had been 2hrs, in this crazy weather! Hating to waste the tickets we went back for more the next day. Thank goodness all turned out & we got to enjoy our day. Our entire family was cheering for Danica Patrick to win, she came in third. We also saw Ashley Judd supporting her hubby down on the track, he came in 2nd. What a fun, exhausting time!
