Family Fun Day

Doug named today, Callahan family fun day. Happy faces ALL day, no complaining or arguing among us (not easy for a family of 6). We started by heading downtown Charleston to 'Wild Wing' for lunch. A favorite of ours, if you like wings, they have any flavor you would like, they are the BEST! Then we walked & walked the streets of Charleston to the Aquarium. It's a beautiful location right on the water with a beautiful view of the Cooper River Bridge. We then walked back through the streets of Charleston & through the outside 'Market'. The Charleston Market was an actual slave market. Now it is full of lots of different souvenirs, jewelery, sweet grass baskets etc. Last, but not least, the kids got to enjoy some yummy chocolate treats from a local candy shop. Family fun day was LOADS of fun, Doug didn't want it to end. So after supper tonight he treated us to a favorite local ice-cream shop Ye Ol' Fashion Ice-Cream. What a day!
