Mattie's First Game

My Sweet Mattie Girl cheered at her first game last week! She did so fabulous, it was so great seeing her out there! She had such a super time & said itwas everything & more she had always dreamed of.

A couple weeks ago Doug won the dad of the year award! He got the girls tickets to Justin Bieber! Oh My Gosh....I can't even begin to tell you how excited they were! They invited their friend Lauren & we headed to Nashville to the concert. It was SUPER & I have never seen anything like it! It was so fun & I am glad I got to experience the night with them.

Thanks Daddy...you're the BEST!

Abby's 16th Birthday

Holy Smokes my little girl turned Sixteen! Abby turned Sweet Sixteen in July. She obviously had been looking so forward to this milestone birthday. She couldn't wait to get her license, couldn't wait to get a car, couldn't wait for the possibilities!

We started the morning by going to get her license, which she passed with flying colors. Then off to her favorite breakfast spot, IHop. She ordered her favorite breakfast, Rooty Tooty Fresh & Fruity! She spent the afternoon painting pottery with Jordan. She then came home & had to get ready for her BIG night. She invited eighteen or so friends to go to dinner at Macaroni Grill & spend the night. I went ahead of time & dropped of decorations & her birthday cake, since I wasn't going to be there. Macaroni Grill decorated the tables so cute!

She had such a fabulous day!

Riverdale goes to UT Knoxville

Abby had cheer camp a couple weeks ago. Hard to believe this was her third trip & one more to go! Her high school years are flying by! She was really looking forward to this year, guess she's feeling like a pro after the last couple of years. We go up the day before her last day. We get to see her practicing, fooling around & competing.

We Made it to Arizona!!

After ALL these years we finally made it to Arizona! Thanks to our VERY dear friend Anissa & her husband! The entire family of six flew out to Arizona for a week long vacation. It was everything & more I had hoped for. It was such an AWESOME visit! We had a really hard time leaving & already find ourselves wanting to go back.

Our week consisted of: church & a Father's Day celebration, a day trip to Sedona, swimming at a local pool, then off to ShowLow/Pinetop/Lakeside, meeting up with the Knoell's, horseback riding for dad & the girls, lots of family dinner's, a game of LCR, feeding the horses, Serrano's,

Night out with Old Friends & lots of family time between our two families.

We stayed with Anissa & her family at their gorgeous home and their gorgeous home away from home up North. It was such a blessing spending time with her & her little family. She has a wonderful husband, two darling boys & a precious baby girl.
